Botox Cosmetics

Discover the proven results that 11 million women and men have experienced.
With real, noticeable results, no surgery and no recovery time, there are many reasons why BOTOX® Cosmetic has been the most popular physician-administered, non-surgical aesthetic procedure since 1992.

Why Does Skin Age?

Aging skin and wrinkles result from a combination of many factors. It’s not just about cellular changes, collagen depletion, hormone loss, or damage caused by free radicals. Those horizontal lines on your forehead, vertical lines that appear between your brows and lines at the corner of your eyes – result from muscle contractions. When you concentrate, squint, or frown, or raise your eyebrows your muscles contract, causing your skin to furrow and fold. After years of frequent contraction, those wrinkles can linger even after the muscles are at rest. BOTOX® Cosmetic offers you a non-surgical alternative.

What Is BOTOX® Cosmetic?

BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA), a prescription medicine, is a purified protein that temporarily improves the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows, on the forehead and crow’s feet in adults younger on average than 65 years of age.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles of the affected area. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes persistent lines to form at the treated area.
